• Carries pager and answers call lights and resident alarms promptly
• Respond to resident needs under direction of charge nurse
• Ensure resident rooms are neat and clutter free, makes bed, etc.
• Distribute room trays
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Medication administration
• Chart all medications
• Carries pager and answers call lights and resident alarms promptly
• Respond to resident needs under direction of charge nurse

Qualifications and Position Requirements:

• Must have knowledge and understand of dementia and dementia care
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, co-workers and other facility personnel
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws and regulations

Physical Requirements and Emotional Requirements:

• To move intermittently throughout the work day
• Sit, stand, bend, stoop
• Ability to lift, move, push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
