Program Manager, Workforce Advocacy

Overview:

The Program Manager, Workforce Advocacy is responsible for leading and managing initiatives that promote Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) throughout the organization. This role collaborates with leadership to design and implement programs, processes, and policies that advocate for team member development and well-being, fostering an inclusive workplace culture through systematic change.
The Program Manager works closely with leadership, Communities of Belonging (COBs), and HR partners to create a cohesive approach to workforce advocacy, ensuring every team member has the opportunity to thrive in a supportive and equitable environment.

This position is considered Hybrid, meaning individuals may work both at an approved offsite location and onsite at one or more primary locations based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions
Strategic Vision and Alignment:
Develop, create, and sponsor Communities of Belonging (COBs) to build networks of team members that support a sense of belonging and improve communication across the organization.
Ensure COB activities align with the company’s DEIB strategy and communicate these goals clearly to all stakeholders.
Partner with leaders and COBs to integrate DEIB principles into all aspects of the organization, driving systematic change.
Communities of Belonging (COB) Support and Resource Allocation:
Create detailed communications about DEIB initiatives, activities, and expectations to align participants' understanding with organizational goals.

Facilitate feedback channels and open dialogue, promoting transparency and ensuring all voices are heard.

Tracking and Reporting: Track and measure DEIB initiatives using metrics such as membership, participation rates, and sentiment surveys.

Report regularly to leadership on DEIB outcomes, providing insights that inform future strategies and ensuring accountability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field is required. Five years of experience in the field may be substituted for a degree.
Master's Degree Master’s degree in a related field is preferred. Preferred

Work Experience

3 years Minimum of three years of experience in workforce advocacy, DEIB, or related fields, with a focus on aligning ERG (now COB) initiatives with corporate strategy Required
5 years Minimum of five years of experience in project management and leadership support.

Project management and support in a DEIB-focused environment is preferred.
