Accounts Payable Specialist

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in South Pasadena, California. This role is vital in the finance industry, where you will be tasked with handling high-volume invoicing and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process a high volume of invoices bi-weekly.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial documents.
• Generate batches for financial processing.
• Liaise with the finance department for approval of transactions.
• Execute cutting checks and ACH files.
• Manage payments through manual check processes.
• Compile financial data as required.
• Utilize software tools, specifically Springbrooke, for financial operations.
• Handle and maintain purchase orders.
• Oversee the 3 Way Matching process in accounts payable. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and practices
• Demonstrated experience with 3 Way Matching process
• Familiarity with handling Purchase Orders and related tasks
• Proven ability to manage high-volume invoicing efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using accounting software and other relevant computer applications
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
