POSITION: Instrumentation Technician
COMPENSATION: Competitive salary + DOE

LOCATION: Friendswood, Texas
SUMMARY: The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of various instrumentation and control systems used in industrial settings
DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:Install, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems, including sensors, transmitters, controllers, and actuators across the companys entire fleet of mobile and permanent units
Perform regular calibration and testing of instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and instrumentation diagrams
Conduct preventive maintenance programs and document all work performed
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize instrumentation performance and reliability
Respond to instrumentation-related issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime
Stay updated on industry standards and technological advancements in instrumentation
Assist in mobile unit readiness activities including bench testing of process equipment
Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and regulations
Develop work scopes for equipment repair and maintenance, prepare technical reports, update the maintenance tracking software and provide measurement tools that will assist the Maintenance Manager track performance
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Instrumentation Technology Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree (or equivalent ISA certification such as CCST).
Proven experience as an instrumentation technician in an industrial setting.Strong knowledge of control systems, PLCs, and DCS.
Familiarity with calibration and testing equipment.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documentation.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
