Overview:

Beaverton Pet Clinic is looking for an experienced Full Time Veterinary Assistant to join the team!

Compensation: $20-24/hr depending on experience

Location: 11876 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy, Beaverton, OR 97005

Beaverton Pet Clinic is proud to be a part of the local community for over 25 years. We are currently a 5-doctor hospital with roughly 15 additional support staff, and are continuing to grow and expand. With this in mind, we recently moved into a larger, newly renovated space just down the street from our current facility and are SO excited to add to our rockstar team!

Ideal applicants will have at least 1-2 years of general practice experience, but we are absolutely open to training the right person. We are passionate about training our Technician Assistants to do everything they are legally allowed to do in the state of Oregon, so come ready to learn and grow your skills!

Our ideal candidate will have experience with assisting DVMs and Certified Veterinary Technicians with exams and medical treatments, getting up and down from the floor 800 times a day, entering medical notes and treatments into our (moody and love-to-hate) medical software, managing nursing care and treatments, petting cute/feisty/sedated so no longer feisty/chonky patients, setting up and maintaining treatment areas and supplies, and client education.

No problem if this is still new to you or not. What’s most important to us is maintaining our excellent culture which is done through sense of humor, mild sass +/- dark humor, flexibility, laughter, teamwork, and the cornerstone: communication.

It certainly doesn’t hurt that we are closed on Sundays and see our last appointment at 5:15pm during the week which allows our staff ample time away from the hospital to recharge.

We are a part of the MVP (Mission Veterinary Partners) hospital network, which means we truly are striving to be the employer of choice in veterinary medicine. Besides knowing how to have a good time even on a tough day, we offer a generous compensation package as well as retirement plans and a variety of other supplemental benefit options that include: Health, Dental, Vision, paid maternity leave, paid time off, flexible holiday pay, and pet care discounts.

We also have a leadership team that (actually) gets along, communicates, and is here to listen to how we can all make the staff, client, and patient experience the best it can be.

If we sound like a good fit for you, please apply with your resume and a cover letter. You’re also welcome to check out our website at www.beavertonpetclinic.com.

We wish you luck in your search for employment!
