We are looking for a driven Cyber Security Engineer III to join our team. The ideal candidate is a key technologist with a strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of cyber security methodologies. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the security of our organization’s information systems, networks, and data.

Your key responsibilities will include implementing and managing both new and existing security measures to ensure their effectiveness, as well as responding to system breaches and security incidents.

The Cyber Security Engineer III will collaborate closely with IT teams, management, vendors, and other stakeholders to identify potential security risks, develop and implement security measures and protocols, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

General Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage projects for upgrading or implementing new security controls, strategizing with your supervisor to ensure solutions align with the overall cyber security program.
  • Assist in developing and administering the Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy, focusing on Identity Providers (IdP), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions.
  • Monitor systems for cyber security events, investigate incidents, and respond effectively, utilizing security tools to analyze and document findings. Lead investigations as part of the incident response team.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments using security tools to identify system weaknesses, report findings to your supervisor and impacted IT teams, and develop remediation plans.
  • Perform routine penetration testing and collaborate with IT teams to address any identified vulnerabilities.
  • Foster a strong cyber security culture within the organization through awareness programs and training initiatives.
  • Stay current on the latest cyber security technologies and industry trends, focusing on frameworks, threat trends, and overall cyber strategy.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements by implementing necessary cyber security solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Over 7 years of experience in systems engineering, particularly with enterprise-level infrastructure.
  • Deep expertise in Windows Server environments, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and Active Directory design and administration.
  • Extensive experience with cloud technologies, especially Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale IT projects and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
