Corporate Tax Accountant

We are looking for:

We're seeking for a well-experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our expanding tax team. The main responsibilities include managing the preparation of corporate federal income, state income and franchise tax compliance, quarterly tax provisions and assisting with tax audits.

Duties include:

• Handling the preparation of federal income tax returns for various legal entities.
• Managing the preparation and filing of state income tax returns, including making quarterly estimated payments, yearly extensions, and state apportionment calculations.
• Assisting in formulating tax cash out forecasts.
• Supporting federal and state tax managers during income tax audits.
• Conducting an analysis of new or proposed tax legislation to provide awareness of tax planning opportunities or possible tax risks.
• Staying up-to-date with legislative changes in income tax by engaging in continuing education and evaluate its impact on the Company to ensure we remain compliant.

Skills and qualifications include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Additional degree in Tax or CPA certification is a bonus.
• 3+ years of professional experience in corporate tax, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
• An understanding of both federal and state corporate tax laws for tax compliance and planning purposes.
• Proficiency in technology and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration, strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
