Lead Preschool Teacher

DESCRIPTION: Zimmer School is seeking an experienced teacher for our Toddler's and Three's classrooms.

Our schools educational philosophy is based on Reggio Emilia and Jewish values, and promotes creative thinking, skill-building, and creating meaningful relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development:

o Implement a developmentally-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood

education standards.

o Plan activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and problem-solving skills, and

integrate literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies

o Document and display children's work to reflect their learning processes and

o Maintain a classroom environment that is aesthetically pleasing, organized, and

conducive to learning.

o Utilize natural materials and open-ended resources to provoke children's inquiry and

exploration.

o Arrange the physical space to promote collaboration, communication, and

o Collaborate with fellow teachers to align curriculum goals and instructional strategies.

o Maintain regular communication with parents, fostering a partnership in their childrens

education.

o Foster a sense of belonging for our families, and promote their engagement with the

classroom and school.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

2+ years of experience in a preschool setting

A keen understanding of child development and social constructivism

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with

colleagues, parents, and children.

Passion for creating a child-centered, inquiry-based learning environment.

Availability: Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM

SALARY

Competitive salary, based on experience
