Collections Specialist

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Bear, Delaware. The role is within the automobile sales industry and requires a detail-oriented individual to handle accounts receivable and customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the collection processes effectively and professionally.
• Be responsible for answering inbound and outbound calls.
• Conduct billing functions accurately.
• Administer claims in a timely and organized manner.
• Negotiate pricing with customers to encourage payment of overdue accounts.
• Process payments received from customers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records.
• Use your skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage customer accounts effectively.
• Take appropriate action on customer accounts based on monitoring results.
• Resolve customer inquiries efficiently and effectively. • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Collections Specialist or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with answering inbound calls in a detail oriented manner
• Familiarity with billing functions and processes
• Knowledge of claim administration procedures
• Understanding of collection processes and best practices
• Experience with both inbound and outbound calls
• Ability to negotiate pricing effectively
• Proficiency in processing payments in a timely and accurate manner
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in using computers and related software.
