Required: CNA II License in the NC

Responsibilities:

• Supporting Patient Triage – Assisting in initial evaluations by recording vital signs and gathering patient medical history.
• Monitoring Vital Signs – Frequently checking and documenting blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen levels, and pain levels.
• Aiding in Medical Procedures – Assisting healthcare professionals with suturing, wound care, catheter placements, and other bedside interventions.
• Administering Oxygen Therapy – Setting up and ensuring proper function of oxygen delivery systems under RN supervision.
• Providing Airway Support – Assisting with oral and tracheal suctioning to help maintain clear airways.
• Emergency Care Assistance – Supporting medical teams during CPR, Code Blue events, and safely transporting patients for further treatment.
• Conducting Blood Sugar Tests – Performing fingerstick glucose tests and promptly reporting results to nurses.
• Managing IV Sites & Catheters – Observing IV sites for complications and assisting in catheter insertions or removals.

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma
