Position is full-time hours, on-site in Sarasota, with compensation flexible $60-80K depending on experience.

Looking for a natural troubleshooter in all facets (software issues, network issues, systems issues, password issues, software upgrades, deskside support), jack of all trades/master of none, great customer service.

Summary:
The Information Technology (IT) Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the day-to-day operations of the company computer and telecommunications networks to ensure that all systems run effectively and provide sufficient computing power to deliver the desired level of business performance.The IT Administrator is responsible for keeping licenses up to date and compliance with regulations as required. The IT Administrator is responsible for setting up new users and responding to basic network and software problems, as well as training new users on the different systems and providing problem solving assistance to staff and Members as requested.
Responsibilities:
- Investigates and diagnoses network problems
- Collects IT usage stats
- Makes recommendations for improving the company’s IT systems
- Carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions
- Manages backup, security, and passwords
- Tracking all network and software related licensing and working with Director to ensure all are maintained timely
- Sets up new users and training them on systems as required
- Monitors internet and email use to ensure compliance with company policies
- Supports Director in analysis of business requirements of all departments to determine technology needs and the inspection of the use of technological equipment and software for efficiency and functionality as requested.
- Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems as assigned and report to Director
- Must be well organized and can work with limited direction, take initiative, and can plan and carry out responsibilities, organizing own schedule and duties to complete responsibilities
- Must also have good judgment in determining needs of the company and in maintaining information technology delivery in conformance with recognized standards; and is expected to understand and follow all regulatory and facility policies
- Keeps current on all changes in the industry, particularly regulatory changes as they relate to CCRCs, skilled nursing, assisted living and other applicable clinical services
- Must have good judgment in determining technological needs of the different departments and in maintaining delivery of those needs in conformance with recognized standards; and is expected to understand and follow all regulatory and facility policies
Qualifications:
- Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in computer or information science, or a related field. MCs/MA is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in a different field may be accepted with at least 5 years of proven experience as an IT Administrator
- Proficiency in understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, etc.
- Experience in the installation of IT hardware and software
