Summary:

Goldbelt is looking for a Senior Program Manager to manage a portfolio of projects for Federal Government contracts and oversee staff, manage day-to-day operations, assess and mitigate project risks, and identify and resolve project issues in support of program success.
The Sr. Program Manager will be the primary point of contact for the customer and will provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. He/she will establish goals and detailed project plans that meet project objectives and directs/controls activities for the client.

He/she will have overall responsibility for project execution methods and staffing to ensure that Contract requirements are met at all times.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Management of complex projects ensuring that goals, requirements, and outcomes are defined and that the appropriate resources are allocated
  • Monitor team performance to ensure that projects are implemented, supported, and closed accurately and in accordance with key milestones and established project standards are upheld and clearly defined throughout the entire process of each project’s development and execution
  • Provide program management, project control, and contract administration necessary to manage a high-visibility, multi-task effort involving professorial, geographically dispersed vendor personnel; will ensure quality control supervision to assure accuracy and fidelity of all deliverables; will ensure dedicated resources are available to meet schedule and quality standards of each task/deliverable
  • Develops overall project plans, project schedule, status reports, milestones, monitors the execution of the project against planned timelines and other project management deliverables
  • Provides technical and functional management to one or more project teams for specific projects or sub-tasks
  • Ensures project staffing quality is maintained and assists in the acquisition of new company staff resources
  • Grow existing program work organically by identifying and selling new opportunities within the department
  • Overseeing company-wide programs, providing leadership, and direction for project completion
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, managing project communications
  • Influence and drive change
  • Prepare and present project reports for the leadership team Support, coordinate and execute project activities
  • Analyze and interpret project data, providing insights
  • Track performance against planned project performance, ensuring project progress is on schedule and within budget Provide timely and accurate updates
  • Provides subject matter expertise as required

Qualifications:

Necessary Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Passionate about customer experience and helping customers
  • Strong at customer communication skills both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of project planning and management
  • Organized and extremely detail-oriented
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a Program/Project Manager or Team Lead with increasing responsibility
  • Experience overseeing at least 2 Projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in a related field
  • PMP Certification and/or other equivalent certifications a plus

The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $168,400 annually.
