Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Modify, install, maintain, and troubleshoot various types of machinery and equipment, including palletizers, automated box cutters, conveyors, and delta wrappers.
- Provide quick and innovative solutions for equipment breakdowns with a customer-oriented approach.
- Operate machine shop tools, including mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, and saws.
- Perform basic welding, metal fabrication, and plumbing as needed.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including 120-480V systems, variable speed drives, and PLC-related issues (primarily Allen Bradley, with some Siemens).
- Assist in the setup, takedown, and relocation of processing and packaging equipment.
- Order necessary parts through the maintenance planner or supervisor and assist in planning scheduled maintenance work.
- Lift, twist, and carry up to 45 lbs as required for maintenance tasks.
