Sr Data Analyst
Our client is a well-known private Ivy League research University and Education Leader and they are looking for a Sr. Data Analyst to join their team on a 3-6 month contract, with opportunity for extension. As the Sr. Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and AI Product analytics.
This position requires high proficiency in SQL queries, and experience with user analysis tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar, as well as the ability to build dashboards in AWS, QuickSight, or similar tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI). Experience in crafting narratives to clearly explain the product data story, trends and result is key for this role.

responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from our databases to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and product requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of goals and objectives.
- Product Development Support: Assist in the development of product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and user stories based on data-driven findings. E.g. The purpose of this is to assist the product manager with providing data for features in Generative AI products we are building and deploying.
- Value and Metrics Tracking: Define and track key performance indicators (OKRs, KPIs) to measure the success of AI Product performance.
- Dashboards: Build and maintain data visualizations and dashboards in AWS QuickSight or Tableau to present general data findings as well as creating systems to track AI product model performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with AI engineering, UX/UI design, marketing, and other teams to ensure alignment and successful project implementation.
