A company in Burbank is currently looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist with strong excel and cash posting skills. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail along with an in-depth understanding of handling invoices, billing, and financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage accounts receivable and ensure all payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Utilize Excel and other spreadsheets for maintaining and managing data related to accounting, billing, financial transactions, and cash posting.
3. Reconcile client accounts and resolve any discrepancies by analyzing account information.
4. Ensure customer payments are processed and posted accurately, monitoring for irregularities.
5. Prepare financial statements including monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
6. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure seamless financial operations.
7. Respond to client inquiries and resolve any issues related to billing or payments.
8. Follow all company's established accounting processes and procedures.

Qualifications Necessary:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
2. Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.
3. Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Excel for financial data handling and manipulation.
4. Knowledgeable in cash posting procedures and techniques.
5. Strong numeracy and organizational skills.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
8. Must have a keen attention to detail and a commitment to high accuracy in work output.
9. Comfortable working with deadlines and possessing a problem-solving mindset.
