This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our products and ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards.
Duties- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards.
- Analyze data from quality control processes to identify trends, areas for improvement, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure that all quality assurance documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices and procedures.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes related to quality assurance.
- Proven experience in QA/QC roles within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, including quality systems and inspection techniques.
- Familiarity with CGMP requirements and FDA regulations is essential.
- Experience in conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions based on findings.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to product quality.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and collaboration.
- Maintains and reviews documents for HACCP, FDA and USDA compliance.
- BS Degree in biology, microbiology, food science, food technology or related field with 1-2 year experience or MS Degree in the same subjects with 0-1 year experience or 5+ years of experience in related field. Must not be food allergen sensitive Ability to quickly learn and comply with company safety , quality, Good Manufacturing Practices, and other required policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated analytical and technical capabilities, leadership and team working skills, good communication skills, including written, electronic, and verbal
- Must be available to work any/all shifts, holidays, and long hours as required
- Capability to work in refrigerated environment
- Bilingual is a must
