We are looking for a committed, caring, and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Skilled Nursing Facility!- Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility
- Location: Stratford Villa Post Acute, 752 Holmes St, Livermore, CA 94550, United States
- Position Type: Full-Time Shift, 8 hours per day, 5 days a week
- Shift Schedule: Flexible for AM (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) and PM Shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM)
- Pay Range: $21-$25 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- A Nursing Assistant, or a Nursing Aide, provides healthcare and support to patients in a medical facility. Their main duties include offering basic physical assistance to patients, feeding patients according to their dietary needs, and recording vital signs.
- Assist residents with their daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
- Observe residents' condition and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Help residents with mobility by assisting with walking, transferring, and repositioning
- Take and record residents' vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Respond promptly to call lights and provide assistance as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, following infection control protocols
- Document and communicate residents' progress and any issues or concerns to the nursing staff
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of California.
- Must have an active BLS through the American Heart Association
- Must have an active CPR Certification
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Is in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards is required
- Interest in working with the geriatric population
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety protocols
