Nurse Practitioner – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience in critical care or ICU settings.
• NYS licensed/registered NP with an acute care specialty preferred.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
• Experience managing ventilators, drips, and advanced monitoring devices preferred.

Duties:

• Manages critically ill patients in collaboration with intensivists.
• Performs advanced patient assessments and initiates treatment plans.
• Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Adjusts ventilator settings and manages hemodynamic support under physician guidance.
• Communicates with patients’ families about care plans and prognosis.

Pay: Medium weekly pay range: $2,500 - $3,200 per week
