Sr. Accountant

Schedule: standard onsite, with some flex and potentially hybrid down the road

Job Description:

As a Senior Accountant at this organization, you will play a key role in maintaining the company's financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting financial decision-making processes. You will work closely with the finance team, department heads, and external partners to analyze financial information, prepare reports, and contribute to strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances and analyzing the reasons behind the differences.
3. Compliance and Taxation: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
4. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency. Implement best practices in accounting procedures and internal controls.
5. Financial Systems and Technology: Utilize financial software and ERP systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records..
6. Audit Support: Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing financial expertise and support as required.

• BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Manufacturing Accounting and FP& A experience
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JD Edwards)
• CPA a huge plus
