Associate Attorney

We are offering a stimulating role for an Associate Attorney in Sacramento, California, 95816, United States. This role revolves around the legal industry and requires a professional experienced in plaintiff-side practice. This role will involve handling a variety of responsibilities from case strategies to client interaction.

• Independently drive case strategies in single-plaintiff employment cases.
• Handle all aspects of the discovery process, from drafting to responding to document discovery requests, and supervising expert witnesses.
• Draft a variety of court filings including but not limited to motions, mediation briefs, and trial briefs.
• Attend mediations and actively engage in settlement negotiations.
• Argue motions and examine witnesses at evidentiary hearings and trials.
• Work alongside clients and opposing counsel on occasion.
• Effectively coordinate with paralegals and law firm staff.
• Utilize legal research and writing skills to contribute to case success.
• Manage discovery and file motions to retrieve necessary documents.
• Apply knowledge of federal and/or state civil procedures to case strategies. • Must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Associate Attorney or in a similar role.
• Active member of the State Bar.
• Proficiency in 3M, Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, Conveyancer, Document Management.
• Experience in Briefing, Civil Litigation, Claim Administration, Complaint Handling, Consumer Electronics.
• Expertise in Litigation - Plaintiff, Employment Law - Employee.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
