Job Description

The Senior Structural Engineer is responsible for:

Developing construction documents, conducting site investigations, and taking field measurements
Analyzing and designing structures following building codes and standards
Preparing professional reports, letters, and documentation
Creating structural sketches, sections, and specifications using Revit
Estimating and designing structural elements like columns, footings, and walls
Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams for seamless execution
Providing technical guidance and mentor-ship to junior engineers
Overseeing quality control for calculations and project deliverables
Traveling occasionally for site visits and meetings

The Successful Applicant

The right Senior Structural Engineer has the following qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a structural engineer on commercial or industrial projects
3+ years of experience using REVIT
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
P.E. professional licensure preferred
Familiarity with industry standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, Building Code)
