Job Description
  1. Strategic HR Partnership:
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support organizational objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance on HR-related matters, including workforce planning, organizational development, and change management.
  • Analyze business metrics and trends to anticipate HR needs and make data-driven recommendations.
  1. Talent Management:
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure the acquisition of top talent aligned with company needs.
  • Develop and implement talent development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Manage succession planning and career development initiatives to build a strong internal talent pipeline.
  1. Employee Relations:
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment through effective employee relations strategies.
  • Address employee grievances and conflicts in a fair and timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Implement and monitor employee engagement programs to enhance job satisfaction and retention.
  1. Performance Management:
  • Develop and implement performance management systems that drive high performance and align with organizational goals.
  • Support managers in setting performance objectives, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Identify and address performance issues and provide coaching to managers on performance management best practices.
  1. HR Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of two HR professionals, providing guidance and ensuring their professional development.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and oversee the completion of HR projects and initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture within the HR department.
  1. Policy and Compliance:
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and alignment with company values.
  • Stay updated on labor laws and industry best practices to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct audits and prepare reports on HR metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  1. Organizational Development:
  • Lead organizational development initiatives to enhance company culture, structure, and processes.
  • Implement change management strategies to support organizational transformation and growth.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and execute strategies for organizational effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HR management, with at least 4 years of people management.
  • Proven experience in leading an HR team and partnering with senior management.
  • Experience in Manufacturing or Distribution, ideally within a matrix organization.
  • Ability to be on site 5 days a week
