Cnc programmer

This is a permanent opportunity Monday-Friday 2:00pm-11:00pm $30-35 an hour- with a 10% differential

education: No Degree Required

• Write, modify, and optimize programs for CNC milling machines using appropriate software (e.g., G-code, CAD/CAM software).
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to create accurate programs.
• Ensure the programs produce parts within the required tolerances and quality standards.
• Set up CNC milling machines by installing the appropriate tools, fixtures, and workpieces
• Load and verify CNC programs to ensure proper machine operation
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal operation.
• Select and install cutting tools, tooling components, and other necessary equipment for the CNC milling machine.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on tools and machines, replacing or repairing as needed.
• Inspect parts using measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMM) to ensure they meet the required specifications.Perform in-process inspections during production runs to identify any deviations from desig
• Troubleshoot issues related to machine operations, tooling, and program errors.
• Analyze and resolve problems such as tool wear, misalignment, and incorrect programming.
