responsibilities:As a QC Laboratory Supervisor working onsite in Delaware, OH, you will be responsible for a variety of laboratory operations in quality control and research settings. In the QC team, you will support a team of technicians in the pursuit of sample validation, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
This team member will be a model performer, a facilitator for the technicians, and a driver of strategic initiatives at the laboratory level.
- Execute day-to-day allocation of resourcing amongst the QC team
- Identify the requirements for support of cross functional groups
- Facilitate and support RCA activities
- Identify and scope improvement opportunities in the process
- Collaborate with fellow lab leads to scope opportunities amongst different work areas
- Lead daily meetings with technicians
- Acknowledge and facilitate fulfillment of the needs of the technicians, the QC team, and the physical resourcing of the lab.
- Support the achievement of strategic goals
- Understand, support, and maintain Delaware's Quality Management System requirements
- Maintain and complete a personal and team development plan
- Support and provide input on Departmental X matrix action items as assigned
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering preferred
- At least 2 years of academic or professional experience in a laboratory setting
- Experience in people leadership preferred
- Ability to work additional overtime as determined by team, business, and project needs
skills: Quality control, SOP, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
