Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 384-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California. We have served north Sacramento County as well as south Placer County for over 50 years. Responsibilities:
The incumbent demonstrates competency in patient care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. May be required to direct the work of a Physical Therapy Assistant.- Meets the discipline-specific productivity standard.
- Demonstrates competency in the care of patients during field observation by the clinical supervisor.
- Completes and submits documentation following established guidelines as measured by a designated evaluation tool.
- Physician orders are present and written correctly.
- Documents follow up of identified problems.
- Reviews and documents clinical progress toward goals.
- Demonstrates coordination of care by appropriate communication with other disciplines and team members, and
- Meets agency/regulatory requirements as measured by a designated evaluation tool.
- Documents appropriate management of visit utilization and authorization status as measured by a designated evaluation
- Meets regulatory requirements for supervisory visits as measured by a designated evaluation tool.

Qualifications:
Experience:
- Experience in a health care setting (2years).
Licensure:
- Possession of a current California license to practice physical therapy.
- Current California driver's license, possession of automobile insurance, and access to an operating motor vehicle.
- Current CPR card.
