Location: Washington DC (hybrid- 2 days minimum in office)
We are working with a highly respected law firm that specializes in intellectual property and complex litigation, providing top-tier legal services to some of the world's leading companies. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting the legal team in Washington, D.C. This is a fast-paced, dynamic position requiring a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Establish and maintain case management systems for new matters, including the organization of case files and the timely downloading and distribution of ECF documents.
- Document Preparation: Draft, format, and finalize legal documents, organize exhibits, and ensure proper filing and service coordination, including liaison with local counsel and process servers.
- Coordination with Litigation Docketing: Inform the Litigation Docketing team of new matters and ensure all relevant documents are properly filed and accessible. Collaborate closely with the docketing team to meet workflow demands.
- Deposition Support: Schedule and coordinate depositions, manage calendars, and oversee the processing and distribution of transcripts and errata sheets.
- Expert Witness Coordination: Communicate with expert witnesses, coordinate logistical needs, and assist with the drafting of expert reports.
- Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries or directing them as necessary.
- Billing: Meet a target of 1300 billable hours per year as established by the firm’s practice management.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience
- International Trade Commission (ITC) experience, required.
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required.

The salary range for this position in Washington, D.C. is approximately $86,590 - $134,493 per year, depending on experience.
