Help Desk Analyst II - Robert Half

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the transport industry in Bensenville, Illinois. The role is for a Help Desk Analyst II who will serve as the primary IT contact for around 90 end users, addressing technical issues, troubleshooting systems, and managing help desk tickets.

• Serve as the standalone onsite IT contact for around 90 end users, addressing any questions or concerns as they arise
• Manage an average of 20 help desk tickets per week, ensuring all issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network
• Operate and troubleshoot the Windows 10 operating system, making sure it functions optimally for all end users
• Provide comprehensive support for office printing equipment, including routine maintenance and resolving any connectivity and functionality issues
• Ensure seamless network operations, troubleshoot any network issues, and assist in network upgrades or expansions as needed
• Document all issues and their resolutions in the Help Desk system for future reference
• Provide precise, understandable, and timely updates to end users regarding the status of their service requests
• Contribute to IT-related projects as required, supporting the broader objectives of the organization. • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Help Desk Analyst or similar role in the Transport industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows 10
• Strong skills in Basic Network Troubleshooting
• Demonstrated ability in Hardware Troubleshooting
• Proven experience in providing End-User Support
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• IT-related certifications will be considered an advantage
