A leading critical access hospital located in New Hampshire is now seeking an experienced Physician Assistant Inpatient Orthopedics to join their award-winning healthcare team.
This regional leading critical access hospital offers a wide variety of medical and surgical inpatient services including emergency, obstetrics, oncology, surgical, and much more. The obstetric department is a smaller tight knit group that performs roughly 300 births per year.
The Physician Assistant Inpatient Orthopedics will provide direct patient care in an established critical access hospital orthopedic program. This well respected orthopedic program combines a team of specialists trained in advanced bone, joint, nerve, muscle, tendon, and ligament care.Responsibilities include ensuring comprehensive patient evaluation, orders and evaluates lab and imaging tests, provides direct patient care from preoperative to postoperative settings, and serves as the First Assist within the operating room.
This position shares call responsibilities with other advanced practice team members.
What’s Needed to Succeed:
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant PA-C in the state of New Hampshire or ability to obtain upon hire
- Expert knowledge of musculoskeletal, sports medicine, or orthopedic care
- Prior working experience is a plus!
