Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist

We are in search of an Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist to join our team in New York. The role involves managing various aspects of customer credit applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries. In addition, the role includes monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

• Process and manage customer credit applications with precision and efficiency
• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly
• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to accounts receivable and collections
• Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and other irregularities
• Conduct timely and effective collection efforts on overdue accounts
• Utilize software systems such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks
• Perform account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy of records
• Handle cash applications and cash collections efficiently
• Participate in billing processes and operations
• Engage in commercial collections processes as required. • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections role.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience in Billing procedures and protocols is required.
• Proficiency in Cash Applications is crucial.
• Experience in Cash Collections is necessary.
• Must have a strong understanding of Commercial Collections.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience in using Oracle for accounting tasks is essential.
• Knowledge and experience in QuickBooks is required.
• Proficiency in SAP is crucial.
