Controller (Plant)

Robert Half is looking for a Controller with a hands-on approach who will be responsible for the overall accounting functions of our clients manufacturing plant. The company offers strong career advancement opportunities and a strong benefits package along with a generous bonus program.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting operations of the plant, including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.

Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.

Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.

Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

Support month-end and year-end close processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing sector.

Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems preferred.

Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
