Position Summary:
As the Nursing Operations Manager, you will lead and oversee operations for inpatient care units, ensuring the achievement of departmental and hospital goals through collaboration with medical staff.
Essential Functions:
- Evaluate care environments to improve service quality and compliance with standards.
- Plan, direct, and assess patient care delivery for optimal outcomes.
- Foster a safe and reliable environment for patients and team members.
- Participate in policy formulation and embrace workplace diversity.
- Drive continual improvement in nursing and patient care standards.
- Serve as a change agent, guiding teams through the change process.
Hospital Care at Home Functions:
- Lead and oversee the virtual nursing unit.
- Utilize TeleHealth technology for patient assessments and virtual visits.
- Collaborate with the Advanced Care at Home team to deliver necessary in-home nursing care.
Qualifications:
Education/Training:
- Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.
- Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent graduate degree in a health-related field.
Licensure/Certification:
- Current RN licensure in Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Additional certifications may be required based on patient population.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years as an RN in an acute care setting and 1 year in a leadership role.
