Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and meticulously organized individual to join as an Admin Assistant at this fantastic nonprofit! This individual will primarily focus on keeping detailed records of the farms 150 residents and the donors who generously fund the operation, while also fielding some of the phone and email communication that comes in day to day.This person should be discreet and mature in the handling of donor information, and well versed in equine terminology. To keep the days versatile and enjoyable, there is opportunity for this individual to also partake in showcasing the animals for their sponsor donors, as well as working to grow the farm's social media presence.
There is room to grow in this position as time and skill would warrant! Housing is available nearby for out-of-state applicants.
Job Duties- Maintain vet, farrier, medication, and dental records on all animals on-site
- Ensure all donor information remains accurate and up-to-date, including address, contact info, and history
- Utilize the farm's current software to track donations and spending
- Ensure all donors are thanked for their contributions and acknowledged in a timely fashion
- Assist with the generation of sponsorship packages on individual animals for donors - including photos of the animals and creative summaries of their personalities
- Answer calls, emails, and social media outreach as needed
- *Bonus: generate content and manage the growth of the farm's social media presence across multiple platforms
