Accounts Payable Clerk - Robert Half

This is an opportunity to transition into a contract-to-permanent position.

• Efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications.
• Maintain up-to-date and precise customer credit records.
• Review invoices and payment requests to verify their completeness and accuracy.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, ensuring that proper documentation is in place.
• Timely entry and processing of vendor invoices into the accounting system.
• Preparation and processing of electronic transfers, payments, and check disbursements.
• Reconciliation of accounts payable transactions and resolution of discrepancies.
• Maintain the vendor database, including adding new vendors, updating existing ones, and ensuring up-to-date information.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and resolve any issues with professionalism.
• Assist with the close processes at the end of the month and year, including the preparation of accounts payable reports.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and accounting standards.
• Support audits by providing requested documentation and assisting with account analysis.
• Proven experience in the Media industry
• Previous role as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Demonstrated ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with Check Runs
• Familiarity with Coding Invoices
• Strong Data Entry skills
• Expertise in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of QuickBooks
