• COMPUTER SOFTWARE: Health Management System (HMS), Microsoft Office
• EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have Medical Assistant Certification

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide direct patient care services of a medical nature in a clinical setting
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology
• Phlebotomy skills as well as administering IM and Subcutaneous injections
• Ability to administer and read accurate blood pressure testing
• Interviewing patients and obtain a complete medical history
• Ability to keep accurate records
• Distribute prescribed medications
• Effective communication skills

Required Skills:

• Ability to speak and understand English and communicate effectively
• Experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting
• Have completed and passed a medical assistant program
• Skilled at taking and reading accurate blood pressures
• Experience distributing prescribed medications to patients
• Experience in phlebotomy administering IM and Subcutaneous injections
