Responsibilities
Responsible for loading pallets of fruit onto trucks and rearranging/rotating fruit in cold storage; assist with inventory count; completing food safety checklist of every truck being loaded; verifying and confirming load count; conducting pre-shift forklift checklist; reporting any machinery malfunction to the shipping supervisor immediately; ensure the forklift is operated in a safe and efficient manner in a fast-paced environment; occasionally assist with the sanitation of the facility which requires kneeling, bending, walking, and the use of proper tools and chemicals; performing various other tasks as needed.
