Construction Superintendent - Grocery - Traveling

About Our Client

Our client is one of the most established and reputable mid-sized construction firms in the Atlanta area with more than 60 years in the market. They specialize in ground up commercial construction within a variety of sectors including big box retail, healthcare, grocery, and municipal.

• Oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring the project is built according to plans, specifications, and timelines.
• Develop and manage the project schedule, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team to maintain progress and meet deadlines.
• Ensure all work meets company standards, client expectations, and applicable codes and regulations through inspections and detailed oversight.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Manage and supervise subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project requirements and timelines while addressing any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, progress logs, safety checklists, and as-built drawings, to ensure accountability and compliance.

• 5+ years of experience as a superintendent working on commercial construction projects
• REQUIRED: Experience as the primary superintendent for the construction of grocery stores from site work to final punch list
• Proficient with relevant construction software
• Strong communication skills with the ability to efficiently and effectively coordinate with clients, vendors, and team members
• Strong knowledge of the technical construction process
