Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with R&D, Operations, and Quality teams to develop and sustain streamlined, effective manufacturing processes.
  • Design and validate tooling, fixtures, and equipment to ensure optimal machining performance.
  • Identify and resolve issues, while continuously refining existing processes and equipment for greater efficiency.
  • Oversee the insourcing of new parts and the selection/qualification of equipment (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Enhance product line layout, workflow, and quality to drive overall operational efficiency.
  • Spearhead cost-reduction efforts and lead the creation of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Strong background in CNC machining process development, automation, and programming.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Six Sigma, Kaizen, DMAIC, tooling and fixture design, SolidWorks, SPC, GD&T, and process yield improvement analytics.
  • Experience working with international teams and willingness to travel.
  • Familiarity with cobot integration, machine monitoring, and learning systems.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and HMI/SCADA.
  • Background in Quality Control and inspection processes.
