Manager, IT Vendor Management
Overview:
The Manager of IT Vendor Management plays a crucial role in optimizing Atlas Air's technology partnerships and service delivery. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining effective vendor relationships, ensuring contract compliance and optimization, and driving vendor performance to meet business objectives.The scope includes all technology related vendors including IT services, hardware, software, and telecommunications. The role requires close collaboration with IT teams, procurement, legal, and business stakeholders to maximize value from vendor partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Vendor Performance Management- Develop and implement vendor performance monitoring frameworks including SLAs and KPIs
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Partner with IT teams to define and track service level agreements and performance metrics
- Create and maintain vendor scorecards and performance dashboards
- Identify and drive performance improvement initiatives with key vendors
- Escalate vendor performance issues and drive resolution
- Maintain comprehensive vendor contract repository and renewal calendar
- Partner with Legal and Procurement on contract negotiations and renewals
- Review and validate vendor invoices against contracted terms and services
- Track contract milestones and deliverables
- Ensure vendor compliance with security and regulatory requirements
- Maintain vendor management documentation and procedures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendor partners
- Coordinate between vendors and internal IT teams to facilitate service delivery
- Facilitate regular business reviews with strategic vendors
- Act as escalation point for vendor-related issues and concerns
- Partner with IT teams to ensure effective vendor engagement
- Drive continuous improvement in vendor relationships and processes
- Monitor and report on vendor-related risks
- Ensure vendors maintain required insurance and compliance certifications
- Partner with Security team on vendor security assessments
- Track and report on vendor incidents and resolution
- Maintain vendor contingency and exit plans where required
- Support vendor audits and compliance reviews
- Develop and maintain vendor management processes and procedures
- Implement vendor management best practices
- Create standard templates and tools for vendor management
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency
- Document and share vendor management learnings and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management, preferably in technology
- Strong understanding of contract management and vendor governance
- Experience with vendor performance measurement and SLA management
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency with vendor management tools and processes
- Experience in aviation, logistics, or transportation industries
- IACCM, CPSM, or similar certification
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (ITIL)
- Experience with vendor management software platforms
- Background in IT operations or service delivery
- Experience with cloud service providers and SaaS vendors
Skills:
Technical Skills- Proficiency with vendor management platforms
- Experience with contract management systems
- Knowledge of IT service management tools
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with BI/reporting tools
- Proven ability in interpreting and improving technology related contract terms and conditions
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities
- Process-oriented thinking
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Periodic travel for vendor meetings and site visits
Salary Range: $109,000 -$147,500

Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset.
