Job Title: Client Delivery Partner (SMB Space - Custom Software Solutions)
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Responsible for maintaining current revenue stream & strategic growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, long-lasting partnerships & value added partner.
- Understand clients’ requirements and business objectives.
- Strong technical knowledge & experience to present engineering solutions to the clients.
- Ensure high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Account Management:
- Oversee a team of Delivery Managers who handle the day-to-day management of client accounts.
- Monitor the delivery of software services to ensure they meet client expectations.
- Resolve escalations, answer queries, and proactively manage any concerns from the clients.
- Strategic Planning and Business Development:
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, or expanding business within existing accounts.
- Create and execute strategies to grow the account and increase revenue.
- Project Delivery:
- Responsible for the execution of client projects.
- Detailed understanding of requirements, active participation during detailed requirements study, technical discussions, analysis phase.
- Work with engineering team on estimates, presentation to clients.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required standards.
- Review Status Reports internally & present to clients.
- Maintain & Review KPI measures, retro of projects upon completion/go-live.
- Collaborate with internal team members to ensure smooth implementation.
- Track project progress, making adjustments/decisions as necessary, to meet client commitments.
- Manage Offshore Team:
- Work closely with offshore engineering team for various stages of the project.
- Ensure there is enough overlap for daily communication.
- Align with the team culture for best results.
- Serve as a bridge between Client’s team & offshore engineering team members.
- Ensure there are no communication gaps.
- Reporting:
- Provide clients with insights on project progress, trends and best practices, related to their line of business.
- Present regular performance reports, showing measurable outcomes and value add to the client.
- Offer strategic advice and recommendations based on data and market trends.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication.
- Work with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product development, customer service) to fulfill client needs.
- Contract Negotiation and Management:
- Lead contract discussions, negotiations, and renewals.
- Manage the terms of agreements and ensure both parties comply with the contract's terms.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or business management, or a related field (Master's degree is an added plus).
- Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Client Partner role, technical expertise & account management in SMB client space.
- Technical experience handling custom software solutions.
- Experience with contract management, project management, and strategic planning.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
