Office Assistant

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in our Non-Profit organization located in Annandale, Virginia. As an Office Assistant, you'll be responsible for various administrative duties, such as answering inbound calls, performing clerical tasks, and utilizing Microsoft Office.
This role also involves data entry tasks and requires excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as the point of contact for all incoming calls and visitors, ensuring they are greeted in a detail oriented manner.
- Undertaking a variety of clerical duties to support daily operations.
- Utilizing Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel, to manage and organize office tasks.
- Handling data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy.
- Demonstrating dependability and detail oriented behavior in all aspects of the role. • At least 2 years of experience in an Office Assistant role or a similar position within a non-profit organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with clerical duties such as filing, typing, copying, and binding
- Demonstrated history of answering inbound calls in a detail oriented manner
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus.
