Paralegal

We are looking for a Paralegal to join our team in the law industry, based in Chevy Chase, Maryland. This role will encompass various tasks related to litigation, including the preparation of pleadings, drafting responses, working with court personnel, and attending trials.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and draft pleadings for various cases and respond accordingly
• Draft and respond to discovery in relation to ongoing litigation cases
• Work closely with various courts and court personnel to ensure smooth case proceedings
• Electronically file documents as needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Actively participate in trial preparations to ensure all necessary documents, evidence, and information are ready for presentation
• Attend trials to provide necessary support and assistance to lawyers
• Handle complex business litigation cases, ensuring all necessary procedures are followed
• Manage commercial litigation cases, coordinating with all involved parties
• Ensure complex litigation procedures are executed accurately and efficiently.

• Strong understanding and experience in Commercial Litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive legal research.
• Outstanding organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Proficiency in using legal research software and other related software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
