Mechanical Engineer Senior
A Mechanical Engineer Senior is needed for a multinational manufacturing company that produces and distributes trucks, buses and construction equipment, as well as marine and industrial drive systems in the Greensboro, NC area. This role involves designing and leading mechanical engineering activities, ensuring technical solutions meet business requirements, while mentoring junior staff, driving innovation, and building networks both internally and externally to support project success.

salary: $42.10 - 49.82 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
- Design technical solutions in mechanical areas based on given prerequisites (function, style, volume, geometry, costs, quality targets, and regulations).
- Lead and support mechanical design engineering activities in specific areas.
- Actively contribute to project deliveries, integrating others' work and ensuring quality before release.
- Ensure designs meet business targets and requirements.
- Provide input into product and system roadmaps.
- Network and build relationships with universities and external institutes in their technical area.
- Participate in business development and innovation initiatives.
Experience: This position typically requires 5 years relevant experience.
