Executive Estimator

Location: Grand Strand Area, South Carolina

Position Summary

Key responsibilities include meeting with clients, developing competitive estimates using Xactimate software, managing projects from start to finish, reviewing budgets, and regularly communicating progress with clients and management.

• Manage a book of business exceeding $8M annually
• Act as primary contact for owners, adjusters, and consultants
• Identify, scope, and estimate unique site-specific conditions
• Develop accurate estimates across all trades, using Xactimate software
• Coordinate after-hours emergency services as needed
• Recognize and address potential site hazards (asbestos, lead paint, mold, etc.)
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
• Maintain detailed and accurate scoping, including multi-level floor and roof sketches
• Manage budgets and address any overages proactively
• Ensure timely project completion and coordinate with trades and management as needed
• Uphold safety standards, including vehicle inspections and cleanliness

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction, Restoration, or Contents Estimating
• Residential estimating experience exceeding $50K and commercial estimating experience exceeding $250K
• Proficient in Xactimate and Xactimate Sketch
• Strong customer service experience and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting, with a professional demeanor
