Cyber Security Engineer

As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our systems and networks. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security threats, as well as conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Assessments: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat modeling to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Threat Monitoring: Monitor network traffic and logs to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Incident Response: Investigate security incidents, contain threats, and implement corrective actions.
• Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as NERC CIP and NIST.
• Security Tool Administration: Manage and maintain security tools like Wireshark, nmap, Graylog, and others.
• Security Reporting: Generate comprehensive security reports and metrics.
• Security Awareness: Promote security awareness within the organization through training and education.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Cyber Security role
• Proven expertise in Cyber Security
• Demonstrated proficiency in Penetration Testing
• Familiarity with NIST standards and guidelines
• Experience in Thread Modeling
• Ability to perform Code Review effectively
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems
• Proficiency in Log Management
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
