To deliver on our promise to customers, we rely on exceptionally talented, bright, and committed people.We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to operate different types of trucks and trailers.
The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously. This individual will be a strong individual who is adaptive at driving change within a very dynamic business environment and has a proven record of delivering process efficient results.
Duties:- Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles
- Transport and goods to designated locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by dispatch
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed
- Valid DL with appropriate endorsements
- Proven experience in commercial driving
- Knowledge of truck maintenance and repair
- Ability to operate heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts) is a plus
- Excellent driving record with no traffic violations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina for long hours of driving
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 – 45 per week
