Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant/Analyst chief objective is to perform financial operations in accordance with established policies and practices including examination, analysis, maintenance, reconciliation and verification of financial records. Research, analyze and implement accounting pronouncements and other best practices that impact financial processes under the supervision of the Assistant Controller and Director of Accounting/CFO.

• Considerable knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices.
• Comprehensive knowledge in using automated financial systems, particularly in report writing and analyzing accounting records.
• Considerable knowledge of property accounting; preferably commercial property accounting.
• Considerable knowledge of effective customer service and problem resolution.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to apply and adapt accounting principles and methods to a variety of fiscal needs.
• Demonstrated ability to assemble, analyze, and research complex financial data and develop a variety of fiscal reports.
• Demonstrated ability to reconcile bank accounts, receivables, payables and other financial transactions.
