Systems Administrator
This role provides comprehensive technology systems support, ensuring the availability, reliability, sustainability, operation, and administration of IT servers, data storage, software applications, and all related peripherals. Responsibilities include:
Supporting and maintaining workstations, servers, and corporate IT systems within a mixed environment comprising Windows Servers and Workstations, WAN, LAN, VPN, VMware, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft SharePoint, Active Directory, Linux/UNIX, VoIP, and custom applications.
Providing helpdesk support, including timely and effective hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
Independently guiding the implementation of facilities infrastructure from initial planning to completion.
Documenting new and existing infrastructure deployments.
Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments, encompassing computer hardware, systems software, phone systems, website maintenance, application software, and all configurations.
Performing data backups and disaster recovery operations.
Planning, coordinating, and implementing network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
Repairing and recovering from hardware or software failures.
