Role Description
As a General Manager/Operating Partner, you will first evaluate potential acquisitions and later transition into the role of full-time owner-operator of a business. Our target companies have $500k$2MM in EBITDA, $2MM$20MM in revenue, and a history of stable cash flows.These businesses are in fragmented, scalable markets such as building maintenance, healthcare services, B2B services, construction, light manufacturing, and technology.
This role offers a rare opportunity to own and operate a business while building long-term wealth through equity ownership.
Responsibilities- Analyze acquisition opportunities, including financial and operational reviews.
- Assist in sourcing and completing the purchase of a business.
- Serve as the business owner/GM of the acquired company, taking full responsibility for P&L, growth strategy, and daily operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Provide hands-on leadership and oversight as the onsite operator, relocating to the business HQ for at least two years post-acquisition.
- Former college, professional, or Olympic athlete with at least 3+ years of professional work experience in business management, sales, operations, or a related field.
- Strong business acumen with a focus on driving free cash flow and profitability.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, combined with leadership skills and a track record of delivering results.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities for business growth and execute on them effectively.
- Willingness to relocate to the business HQ for a minimum of two years.
