Staff Accountant - Norcross

salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per yearshift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities- Excellent background in manufacturing cost accounting. WIP, BOMs using GP Dynamics
- Prepare and record journal entries transactions for month end closing.
- Responsible for closing and other fixed asset functions for all companies.
- Prepare general ledger account analysis and other assistance/schedules during quarterly and annual closing including any other schedules to support the annual audit.
- Responsible for coordination/valuation of physical inventory cycle counts.
- Closing the month’s inventory accounts in the most efficient manner, reconciling to insure accuracy.
- Examine ways to improve workflow. Knowledge/exposure using MS Visio or any other similar software
- Performs other duties as required that are in support of the department’s goals to meet company deadlines and objectives.

- Full Cycle Accounting (5 years of experience is required)
- Great Plains (5 years of experience is required)
- Inventory Accounts (5 years of experience is preferred)
