Overview
This is a hybrid-remote position - incumbents, who reside in Oregon or Washington only, may work 1-2 days a week at an assigned Legacy Health location, and other days may work remotely at home, on the road or in a satellite location for the remainder of their workweek.
All new hires are required to come to a designated Legacy Health office location in Portland, Oregon prior to their start date for a new hire health assessment and to complete new hire paperwork. This position may require initial training and orientation to be site-based, before transitioning to the hybrid schedule.

The Medical Staff Coordinator (MSC) is accountable for direct coordination and supervision of Medical Staff Services operations, under the overall direction of the Department Manager. The MSC exercises discretionary judgment in solving problems and provides leadership in supervising staff and promoting team building amongst staff.The MSC organizes specified activities for departmental personnel and provides liaison services amongst the Medical Staff, departmental personnel, and hospital staff/administration. Provides resources and information for the Medical Staff such that its duties and obligations are carried out in accordance with national, State and local regulatory agencies and in accordance with the Medical Staff governance documents.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.
Experience:
Minimum five years’ experience in medical services profession or relevant healthcare experience.

- Comprehensive subject matter expertise and knowledge of Medical Staff.
